The Great Barrier Reef
As one of the "Seven Natural Wonders of the World", the Great Barrier Reef remains at the very top of the "must do" list for world travellers. As the closest point of departure for the magnificent Great Barrier Reef, Port Douglas is the ideal launching pad.
Choose from a variety of reef cruises where you can snorkel, scuba dive or experience the magic of the Great Barrier Reef from the comfort of an underwater viewing platform. For panoramic views over lush tropical rainforests and gorges, cascading waterfalls and the incredible coral formations of the reef, you can't beat a helicopter charter!
You can even choose to fly out to a deserted tropical sand cay. Spot humpback whales, dolphins and other marine life as you soar above the turquoise waters of the reef.
The Daintree Rainforest & Mossman Gorge
The Daintree Rainforest and river tours operators, which operate out of Port Douglas, offer full day cruises and half day cruises incorporating scenic drives, crocodile spotting river cruises and visits to stunning Mossman Gorge.
Take a revitalising dip in its crystal clear waters and experience the beauty of its cascading waterfalls and polished rock boulders. Also available are indigenous tours, wildlife encounters, 4WD adventures and much more.
Ask your friendly staff at Reception for tour details.
The resort features the Tree Bar and Grill Restaurant which overlooks the tropical swimming pool with waterfall and swim up bar. At Reception you will find a tour desk to book activities in the region. Other facilities include conference and meeting facilities.
The salt water tropical lagoon pool with its swim up bar and waterfall invites guests to take refreshing dips all year round. Laze poolside and sip a cocktail blended from fresh tropical fruit while soaking up the sunshine.
